Tongsheng TSDZ2 vs Bafang BBS02
The Bafang BBS02B has a low gear ratio of 20, which causes a low motor-efficiency. That is why the Bafang BBS02 was not interesting for me, and I did not initially include it in the comparison.
Later, in 2014, the Tongsheng TSDZ2 was released, and this is a much better alternative to the Bafang BBS02B.

The big advantage of the Tongsheng TSDZ2 and the Bafang BBS02, is that all parts are available, in contrast to Yamaha and Shimano which are hardly repairable.

- Lighter pedaling without motor support
